Lee Child’s latest thriller finds Jack Reacher stranded by a blizzard in a small South Dakota hamlet. The action hero can’t wait to get out of Bolton, until he learns about the precarious situation of a woman, a key witness in a drug case whose life is threatened by the people she will help federal officials put behind bars.
Although he would like to move on when the weather clears, Reacher knows the next 61 hours are crucial and will determine whether or not the woman ever makes it to the courtroom.
If you are already addicted to this series, here’s your fix for this year. Those who haven’t become hooked on the Jack Reacher thrillers, beware: once you read one, Lee Child owns you - which means you better have enough time to go back and get caught up on the other dozen or so novels that preceded this one.
