Aaron Tucker: freelance author and screenwriter, father of two, husband to drop- dead-gorgeous attorney Abby. A Farewell to Legs rolls merrily along on author Jeffrey Cohen’s wise, wicked and witty ideas on marriage and murder (often cut from two ends of the same bolt ). Yet his observations are suprisingly tender, regarding the responsibilities and trials of being a parent and fathering a delightful book in the process. Hilarity coupled with a good mystery ensures future installments in the Aaron Tucker Mystery series.
Aaron is a multi-tasking fellow, simultaneously writing about a murder, investigating said murder, making arrangements to contract out home improvements, and solving the “stink bomb” crisis at his children’s school - all the while tending to his children’s after- school needs and appreciating his wife, whom he clearly adores.
He also stays in contact with his clique of close friends and manages his time with officers of the local police department in New Jersey, who think he is a pest.
By the end A Farewell to Legs, we come away from a good read, feeling as if we know the
author personally and appreciative of Cohen’s story-telling savvy. Aaron’s sarcastic wit and sense of humor drive the book along with a hilariously twisty and twisted plot full of entertaining characters.
